PIXMA G3270 How to scan photos without using my PC

How do you SCAN photos on pixma G3270 photo printer /scanner,the instruction manual is worthless,can I scan without using my PC? I have the IJ scan utility in my apps,,HELP

Can this be fixed? - Pie and ice cream melted into printer

I left a plate of pie and ice cream on top of the printer accidentally. (Got distracted and forget it)  It melted and slopped over the plate into the printer under the glass.  Can it be taken somewhere for repair or is it toast?  Thanks.
