I don't use my printer often. I haven't printed photos in quite a while.. but the printer works fine for printing pages.
So i wanted to print some photos today. and every time i do, I get a support code 4102. i wanted to print 2 5x7 images on 8.5x11 photo paper. i even tried 8 x10 image or 4x6..nope! but yet i print my ebay forms just fine.
I have checked and rechecked the media and page size. and I cannot find the issue. everything seems correct. I have changed to glossy paper and glossy 2. No matter what I do I cannot get image to print. I am stumped.
Anyone? please email me if they know a way to possibly reset the device. or any other helpful ideas.
Thanks so much. <personal info deleted per Community guidelines>

It's Canon MG2500. Every time I try to print color photos using letter size paper, it will give me support code 4102, and will not print. I checked and re-checked media and page selection. And still get the code. Strangely enough I cut the paper down to 4x6" and it worked. But won't print on larger photo paper.
Based on what is in the manual it looks like Photo Printing is limited to 4x6 paper.

If you don't print very often the nozzles may be clogged? Can you run a maintenance check on it?

1. You should delete your email from your posting.
2. Let us know printer model so we can provide info on running a nozzle check.

Is NOTHING getting onto the paper when you do photos? If all ink colors are fine when you print documents, nozzles are not your problem.
Have you researched the support code, with Canon or on the Internet?

OP hasn’t responded since initial post. Some printers have a black pigment ink for text and dye for colors. If his does that could explain when he says “prints pages” (text).

Thanks all for the suggestions. It's not really about the nozzles being clogged. Because I said it prints in full color in regular paper. But for whenever reason when I change settings to print photos.. I get the above error message.

Can you post the model of your printer, the software you are trying to print from and a phone photo of the print dialogue? Sounds like there is a discrepancy in your page size setting.
If you are printing from a Mac computer verify that you are using the IJ Series driver and not the Apple AirPrint driver.
