PIXMA G4210 False paper jam after firmware update

I have a Pixma G4210 multi-function printer.  I ran a firmware update today.  Afterwards, I have a 1300 error code claiming there is a paper jam.  There is no paper jam.I'm not finding any support for this on the canon site and am getting frustrated.
