I have scanned with this printer for over a year.  Today, after the few steps, it says " Set the pc to start scanning" but it goes back to default Doc.type <Auto scan> instead of staying on Doc.type <Photo>.  What can I do to be able to scan?

Yesterday i swung open the lower tray on my MX922 and something snapped now the door doesn't open properly and also when i print the roller or something is making noises. Is there a way I can dissasemble the door and check it out.
