Just bought a MB2150 printer but the printing seems darker than the original

For an ordinary excel document the colours seem darker than the original Any ideas to adjust this?

I have the same problem and when I make a copy it also prints black. Here's my scenario. Changed cartridge. Printed blank page. Shook cartridge. Now just prints a totally black page.
