I have an imageClass MF753CDWII.
I installed it on my network, assigned a static IP address to it, and let it auto-update the firmware.
All functions work great until you let the device go into sleep mode.
For the first minute or two of sleep, you can get some response from the printer (scan from doc feeder, ping the device, see network link lights on the nic and switch...), but once it goes into a 'deep sleep' after about 3 minutes, the only way to recover is a power cycle
Yes, I tried a full power unplug and repower, a factory reset, and went to the length of different switch ports and cables. to no joy. The problem still exists.
For a small business printer, this is unacceptable, and I need to find a solution.
i did see some firmware updates for the 'non II' mf753cdw however the 'II' is at the latest published levels.
I would appreciate is anyone has any clue to next steps.
Thanks!
