MX887 will not scan

My MX887 will not scan to my computer. It will not even perform the scan itself. If I add in a USB, it will scan the document, but will then say it is unable to save the document to the USB device.  All othe functions of the printer work fine.

How to print grayscale wireless printer MG3550 with Windows 10 ?

I have a Canon MG3550 printer that printed in Grayscale no problem with Windows 7 as the Printing Preferences were easy to find.  Where are they for Windows 10?

How to print black and white?

I don't see any options in the dialog boxes for printing in black and white, and I would like to make it my default setting.  I have a Canon MG5420 and I'm running a Mac OSX 10.6.8.    Any ideas?
