Regarding Fax : TX Canceled RX FX INFO MISMATCHED----Model Printer TR8620a

Canon Web Site had 3 excellent separate walk thru's using the lighted screen on the printer which should correct the problem: went thru all the listed steps 3 times only to receive the same "Subject" title. The final web site page stated if the problem persisted to post it to the Forum for help.

Hi graybeard47,

Please follow these steps:

1. Turn your PIXMA TR8620a on.

2. Tap the gear icon at the bottom of your printer's display.

3. Tap Device settings.

4. Tap FAX settings.

5. Tap Security control.

6. Tap Check RX FAX information.

7. Tap OFF.

Once set, please attempt to fax again.
