Power shot A495 all pictures are extremely white

Any idea why all of my pictures on my A495 are very white (barley to make out)

Edit auto-hybrid file

How do I save an auto hybrid file to my computer to edit it or play it back later?  I am not using wi-fi to transfer the file. It just saves as a .jpg.
