Poershot SX50 - can I disable the movie button on this camera. I never shoot movies. I catch thisb

I have a Powershot sx50 Camera.

Is there a way in which I can disable the movie button, as I continually press this button by mistake.  I do not shoot movies.

The movie button has a raised ridge around it that keeps it from being accidentally pressed, and makes it feel different than other buttons.
