How do I connect my canon pixon MG 2522 printer to my sons comebook?

I have been fiddling with this and can not figure it out and we need to print something off his computer but he has a chomebook from his school. And for the life of me we can not figure this out so any help would be greatly appreaciated thanks.

Can I print a word document or just photos??
