Hello
Printing from a new Mac Mini M4 with MacOS Sequoia 15.3.2 to a wi-fi connected Pixma MX925, prevously only used from Windows for several years.
Some prints come out inverted: black text on white page becomes white text on black page. This already happened twice from PDF docs obtained from different sources, and that do not show a background with color. Same documents printed from Win10 do print ok as expected.
I noticed two earlier queries:
Neither thread had a final solution. Both asked for error messages, no I did not get error messages. Both files were downloaded from outside websites, one is available fror exam if needed.
I believe the issue might have to do with the printer driver installed, which I downloaded from a Canon website, and that is woking fine with other printed documents.
Thanks

Canon doesn’t show a compatible driver for that printer and macOS 15. What driver is your printer using? You can check that in System Settings->Printers & Scanners.

Thanks for your attention.
Driver is
Versione file: 16.70.0.0 Data di rilascio: 06 dicembre 2022
It is the latest available, reportedly for MacOS 13, on Canon Italy site.
PDF printing does work fine, on some other documents, locally generated or downloaded. Simply, to me there is not a way to tell which file will have problems before printing.

Can you post a “good” file and “bad” file to a sharing service like Dropbox or One Drive?

Thanks John, I have two files ready to share on Google Drive: good file (I only printed page 10) and bad file: I printed pages 3-7 only, all 4 were solid black with barely visible text in white.
SHould I feel comfortable in sharing the links here? I had other cases, good and bad, but can't send due to private info contained.
Thanks, Vincenzo

If there is no personal or other info in the documents that wouldn’t want people to see then posting is OK. It’s up to your decision.

Here is the good file (I only printed page 10)

Here is the bad file (I printed 4-7, and got black, wet pages with barely visible white text)

I opened the file in Preview on my MacBook Air. Printed page 4 bad on my TR8620a and Pro-100. Both have Sequoia drivers. Prints were correct. Is this the only instance of problems?
