PGI-220BK cartridge being misread by printer

i have a PGI-220BK ink cartridge that is full. My MP640 reads this cartridge as empty, and refuses to print. Is there any way to fix this problem /

Screeching noise with new TS8351

Just bought a brand new TS8351 Printer/Scanner and it will print ok.However, there is a horrible screeching noise before printing and sometimes afterwards.Is this normal?Does not seem to affect the printing ability or quality.
