Can my Pixma MX870 printer scan if there are no ink cartridges installed?
Is there a way to get around the no scan issue and continue scanning to my computer until I can purchase ink replacement?

Resolved! When turning on my Pixma MP560 it goes to error or no ink and all I want to do is scan to computer.
Why can I not scan a picture to my computer when I am out of ink in one of my cartridges? I do not want to print only scan to my computer and the error message wont allow me to scan.
