Canon Pixma MX490 series won't print because the function is nor supported on the app?

I'm trying to print a document from acrobat pdf. I click print, get to the print page and hit the yellow print button. Then I get a notification saying it cannot print due to the functions not being supported.  I'm so confused.

PIXMA MX410 Magenta is streaking even after cleaning
