why can't I boot Canon MF4770 installation dvd

i get error message that i need at least 800X600.  i have 1900X1200.  Help please.george

when i insert my Canon MF4770 dvd, i get error message saying i need a screen resolution of >800X600.  Mine is 1900X1200.   how do i deal with this?  I'd appreciate suggestions from the group. George K
