have windows 10 on laptop and now cannot find access to scanner on canon MG3100.can anyone h

I installed windows 10 on my laptop and now cannot find access to canon MG 3100 printer scanner.I can print but cannot scann to laptopCan someone please help 

250MP scanner save as pdf

Whenever I scan a document, the software saves it as a jpg even though I choose "pdf" under "format." Not a big deal, but I then re-save the file as a pdf. Anyone solutions out there?
