R40 Image Formula Windows 10
Everything runs fast, scans look great, except one issue. When scanning sportscards on one side, there is a very noticeable line (almost like a light spot) running down the middle. If I turn the card over and scan duplex, it comes out clean, as the top (door) scanner element is used. It appears it only happens if the lower scanner is being utilized, if that makes sense.
I've tried all the recommended cleaning, taking out rollers and cleaning, etc;
Having big marks all the way down the scans is a death sentence in the sportscard world and it makes it unusable until I solve.
Thank you for any assistance!

I'm having the same issue with photos. When I looked closely, I noticed that the photo has slight indentations where the lines appear in the scan. These indentations align with the scanner rollers. I believe the scanner rollers create an indentation on the photos that then appears in the scan. But I'm not sure how to fix this.

Sports cards are pretty thick, maybe thicker than the R40 Specs say you can scan.
A flatbed scanner doesn't need to bend the card to get it through, which the R40 has to do and may be having trouble doing. This could be the cause of the lines across the scanned image.
