I was gifted a MB2720 printer that has been sitting unused for a long time. I bought new ink cartridges and was able to change the color ones. The black one still shows about half full, but when I try to prink the printing patters, I get a couple dash, and some horizontal and vertical lines. I tried running cleaning cycles. I have read thru this help section, and tried several times, to turn it off, then on, unplug it and tried to move the cartididges over to the middle or to the little shoot area where I can remoce it, I tried this little work around that said to hit copy, when you hear motion, open the front door and the cartridge should move tot he middle..... all of this has not worked.
I feel like if I can change this black ink, then I might get somewhere with being able to print something. The head auto alignment fails... I think this printer is fixable, but its just been sitting for a long time not being used. Can you help me?
