Printer setttings for highest quality

The print driver menu for the Pro-1000 has numerous settings under Printer Features.  Please advise on what settings should be used to get the highest quality.

Under Printer Features, the following menu headings appear.

ProfileID

Output Resolution

Media Type

Paper Source

Quality

Black and White Photo Print

Borderless Extension

MarginType

Print Quality

Black and White Photo Print.

Print Quality can be adjusted (Highest, High, Standard, Custom)

Output Resolution and Quality can also be adjusted (300 x 300, 600 x 600, 1200 x 1200) and (Super Fine, Fine, Normal, Fast)

How should these settings be set.

Re: Printer setttings for highest quality

Hi nedmcculloch,

I would start with the default settings when you download the printer driver and then if you are not happy with the quality or the speed of the prints, then adjust the settings.

If this is a time sensitive matter and would like to review the printer settings, please contact our support group at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666), Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST(excluding holidays).
