I am considering buying the printer but 70% of my prints (A3/A2) will be on transparency films such as Pictorico Ultra Premium OHP Transparency Film 184gsm.
The manual of the PROGRAF 1100 has a long list of compatible paper types that are supported, but nowhere is it mentioned that transparency film is supported. I called Canon and went nowhere. Is anybody out there printing (*) with the PROGRAF 1100 on transparency film? Clearly, "it should" "I expect it does" etc are unfortunately not good enough answers for me to make a bet on such an expensive printer 😎 considering that the bulk of my prints will be in fact on transparency film (**).

(*) By "printing on transparency film" I mean of course with the highest quality, no smudges, running ink, etc etc.
(**) Finding a store with a PROGRAF 1100 around to make a test is out of the question, where I live. You guys are my last option! 😀
