Canon LBP612CDW 2-sided Printing Grayed Out

I have the above printer and had it working preivously on another Mac Mini and a Windows machine. I just bought a new MacBook Pro and properly installed the printer. I connect over USB. But I cannot control the 2-side printing from the driver in the OS. I have to go into the Printer menu and change it there on the actual printer itself. I want to set it up so I can chance it from the computer. What do I do?

I just reset the pritner to factory default settings and rebooted and reconnected it and that worked.
