PIXMA PRO-100 Photo cyan won't print, banding in gray and light gray

I have been happy with this printer.   If the printer doesnt print right I have cleaned the print head and its worked.  However, I now have problems with the PC color which doesn't print at all and the Gry and Ltgry bands.  Any suggestions as to what to try next.   Is it worth buying a new printhead?

f you have run deep cleanings using the printer driver maintenance tab and don't get all the colors printing its likely a print head problem or a printer electrical problem.

To me the decision would boil down to cost. How much are you willing to risk in buying a print head and finding out it wasn't the problem compared to putting that money towards a PRO-200? (Unless you can find a deal on a working PRO-100).

Do you know of a reputable print head supplier for the Canon Pro100.  I tried one place and the "new" printhead would not work at all, so I had to return it and had a fight trying to get a refund.  Argh!
