I am printing with my PRO-4000 on 75 gsm kozo paper. This is a medium-light paper that works great, except when I have an image with black or very dark areas. In this case, I am getting a puckering pattern that seems to come from ink soaking the paper. The banding is not in the color, but rather a puckering of the paper. When I dry-mount the paper, I can get the paper to lie flat, but I want to mount prints by hinging them.
Is there a way to deal with this? perhaps by changing the printer setting to use less ink?
