Can I take video and pictures at the same time without...?

Can I take a picture during video recording that will not result in a video pause/ freeze? I am using 5Dlll with CF and SD cards.

Just got a new T5i and am having trouble getting the flash up when I press the button. What to do?

EOS Rebel T1i flash won't pop up. Any ideas?

I can't get the built in flash to pop up, doesn't seem like the latch solenoid isbeing energized. In auto mode, iso goes to 1600 in dark situations and no flashavailable.
