Hi All, I have decided to go for the Canon 500mm F4 IS Mark I used. Cosmetically, the lens seems to be in pretty good condition minus the scratch marks on the body. Apart from that, no other blemishes that I am aware of it. That said, it is a used le...
Hi everyone, So I know it's the lens because I tried another lens and it worked perfectly. So I'll run it through OBS and every 5-10 seconds(approx), the image will freeze for a few seconds, then continue like normal. Just before the video feed unf...
Hello, I need your expert advice on this. Below is the seller's description of the lens "The outside covering (barrels) down near the camera mount are very slightly loose and wobble a little. Aside from that the lens shows some use but appears to wo...
Hello, While searching for a great deal on the Canon 300mm f2.8 IS mark I, I came across a few reviews suggesting soft focus issues with this lens. I was wondering if anyone experiences the same? Is this an inherent problem with this lens or luck of ...
With my RF 70-200 on an EOS R it sounds like the Image Stabilization is always on, no matter the position of the IS on/off switch. As long as the camera is turned on I can hear the motors in the lens. N o change in sound when I slide the switch on an...
For the silver lens mount of the lens in subject line I know screws are part number XA1-7200-806. Where can I purchase them? Also what size JIS(crosscut) screwdriver should I use for these screws ?
has anyone had this issue as well. I press that shoot button but nothing happens. There are no error messages, it's on manual focus but it won't shoot and picture or videos with the lens.
Hi All, I would like to know your thought on paying extra for IS. Do you really need IS for 300mm and beyond? I am keen at getting either 300 or 400 mm lens for bird photography. That said, I found myself shooting mostly with a tripod. Thanks.
Hi all. I just picked up a used Canon EF 1.4x II extender and attached it to a Tamron G2 70-200 f/2.8 lens. The camera displays f/5.6 to f/45???? Exactly two stops high on each end. Is that a compatibility/communication issue between the two bra...
Hello, I was just wondering if it makes sense to buy a broken lens and have Canon repair it? The lens in question is Canon 300mm F2.8 USM IS mark 1. Per the seller, the housing broke (where the lens connects to the camera). No other visible signs of ...
Hi All, I am still testing and experimenting with the "new" 80d I got. My question is, is this EFS 18-55 any good? It's the cheapie that came with the camera and the same one as I had on my 40d (the one with the 80d is much newer manufacture than th...
Hi All, With the lockdown, I am thinking of playing around with macro photography. I was thinking of getting a dedicated macro lens like the 100mm f/2.8, but then I saw some youtube videos of people playing with extension tubes. I have a 24-70mm f/2....

Hello,I have a Canon 80D with a canon 70-300 zoom lens (Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 L). It is a very good lens that I use mostly for wildlife and birds. However, I would like to have more zoom capacity. I am considering the Sigma 150-600mm lens for a...
