Encoder strip

My printer makes a grinding noise, and you suggested cleaning an encoder strip. How and where?

MX 522 says '"Set the PC to start scanning" when I try to scan from the printer control panel..

Why am I getting this message and how am I supposed to 'set the PC'? This product is extremely frustrating...no instructions at all.

Resolved! MG7520 Error Code 6950 appeared after clearing paper jam.

The printer should be turned off then back on according to the displayed message. But the on/off switch already became non-responsive at this point. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

tips for avoidning wheel marks on photo paper ? (also known roller pizza marks)
