Have a MX 452 which works fine except it does communicate with internet and internal ink settings

My MX452 does not communicate with my computer running Explorer 11 and windows 7. All funcitions between computer and printer work, except for ink levels and online manual.

How to scan on OS X using Lide 30

I had used the Canon Lide 30 as a scanner on previous versions on my old IMac. I now have a new desktop with OS X can need to try scanning with it. Any suggestions?

My 452 shows vertical lines on doc when scan to FILE but Scan to printer does not print vert line.

The scan to file option puts black vertical lines on my documents but if I scan the book page to print, it will print without the lines. This makes no sense to me. My PIXMA 452 all-in-one is NEW, so what could be the problem?
