print legal paper on MX892

how to I print on legal paper with the MX892 

3500 printer- replaced black ink and now printer will not print.

Ran all diagnositic and test print page, all were fine. When I send a document it reads error-printing in the print window.  When this occurs there are no alarm lamp flashes, however sometimes alarm light is steady on.
