Hi Chriscal1,

With the later firmware versions, the serial number is no longer the admin password for the iP8720.

To determine the password for your printer, please follow these steps:

1.  Turn your iP8720 on.

2.  Load a few sheets of plain paper into the the paper feed.

3.  Please hold down the Resume button until the Power light blinks 6 times, then let it go.

The Resume button is the middle button.

One page will print.

On the page that printed, the Default Password will appear at the bottom of the list.

I finally figured it out:

Username: ADMIN (allcaps)
Pwd: <From the network configuration page printout>

I started a new browser instance, went to the IP address of the printer and used these.   The window I had open and tried numerous times wouldn't work so maybe some restriction into the software.   Starting fresh worked for me.

Phew - way to painful!

I have done that several times and it just spits out a blank sheet of paper.

I did this and printed out the page.

Do I use NO USERNAME, Administrator, administrator, Admin, admin or somethign else

None of them worked using the password printed out

BINGO! I think the key was using IP vs what the Mac does - the Bonjour ID. First thing I did was remove the admin PWD.
