my MX 492 now has a 5200 error code. I have gone online for solutions but they have not worked. The printer is no longer supported by Canon. I have a new Canon printer to replace it. I would like to recycle the MX492 rather than send it to the dump. I contacted Canon but they want 18$ for shipping it to them for recycling. Does the community have any better suggestions to have this recycled?
Does your community have a public recycling center that takes electronic waste? How about a Staples store? The one in my city takes electronic waste...computers, printers, monitors, whatever.
