Resolved! WHAT CAMCORDER CAN I USE TO RECORD NIGHT SKY EVENTS

I SEE FILM CLIPS  ON TV OF STARS, METEORS,UFOS ETC...AND WANT TO MAKE THE SAME . WHAT IS THE CHEAPEST CAMCORDER I CAN DO THIS WITH AND TRANSFER ONTO DVD?   I  WAS LOOKING AT CANON XA 20 BUT DON'T THINK IT HAS ENOUGH IR REACH INTO THE NIGHT SKY.
