How can I tell if my issue is a clogged print head or if there's a communication failure between the printer software and the print head? One entire group of colors is printing none of the colors (group 1)
The PRO 100 was given to mean the gal that gave it me no longer has the disc that came with the printer. Where can I get the GUI (front end / operating app) ? I can't find it on Canon's web site
Try doing a clean and then another test. I had one color that didn't print as well and doing a clean purged the water out of the head. It still may be waterlogged and that may be the only problem now.
When mine didn't print on one bank, I removed the printer head, soaked it in Windex for two days then flushed it out with the kitchen faucet sprayer with the spray head removed. Worked wonderfully!
It was a clogged print head. I took out the head and soaked it in Windex for two days. Using a the spray hose of the kitchen faucet, without the spray head, I flushed out each color port several times. That fixed the problem.
