Canon XA25 while in manual focus is not staying where I rack it in. Floats

My Canon XA25 while in manual setting is not staying on subject, floats in and out like it is auto mode.

The icons and other info are on my Vixia HF M 50 are partially outside the field of view

Histogram for Vixia G20?

I thought I saw someing in the Vixia G20 manual that allowed the display of a histogram or was I dreaming.  It seems it had a different name.  I'm so used to histograms in my still work it would sure be nice to have.

I mostly use PL mount lenses but occationally would like to use the lighter weight EF lenses for Ronin and other rigs.  I can't seem to find any adapters to go from EF to PL.  Plus I need it to be rock solid... not a rigged fix that might cause issue...
