EOS C300III/C500II: 3G-Monitor on 12G-SDI-Out?

Can somebody confirm by experience, if one can use a SmallHD monitor (3G-signal input) on the SDI-out (12G-signal output with 4k->HD-downconvert since fw1.0.11) of these cameras?

Hi mcbarny,

You can use a 3G-SDI monitor with the 12G-SDI port on the camera. The resolutions you could output to the 3G-SDI monitor are more limited. They can either be Level A or Level B resolutions for the SMPTE ST 425-1 standard. That would be 2048x1080, 1920x1080, or 1280x720.
