Hi,

This is a new printer, after I complete the setup, the print quality is very bad. I did the printer head alignment as part of the setup. Does anyone know what could be wrong? I attached the picture that it printed out in 13x19. Please help

thanks,

Lets start with the basics:

1. what operating system and software are you printing from.

2. have you installed the latest driver?

3. check that you placed the paper in the printer correctly - print side faces you when you load the paper.

4. can you psot a screen shot of your printer settings in your software?

Media Type : Photo Paper Pro II ( I bought Photo paper pro Luster LU-101)
Print Quality : High ( I tried with standard too,no difference)
Paper Size 8x10 ( I also tried in 13x19) wasted 10 print papers so far

Is the ink wet when you touch it?

Can you try printing on plain copy paper?

Sorry for the wrong thread, actually that was my mistake.I figred out that I printed on the wrong side of the printing paper. It prints perfectly fine.now. Thanks everyone for your help, apprecited.

Thanks,

udhay

If you are unsure of the correct side to print on, and its difficult for some paper, wet a fingertip and touch a corner of the paper. The print side will feel tacky.
