Controlling output on an Pixma Pro-1

I'm trying to print photo positives on film with a Pixma Pro-1 and was wondering what combination of colors would create a very dense black, or if there were someway to control the dot size of the output, or if I can print with just black. 

my canon ipf6300 is printing with black line on it. why is this ?

On my ix6500 regular paper feedsno problem.   13x19 pulls to the left side and gets jammed.  first time I tried to print on it.

My Pixma Mark II 9000 icon shows in Windows 7's devices and printerspanel and it is selected as the default printer.It still doesn't print, even though the document shows in the printer queue..Any suggestions?Thanks,David
