When offset printing brochures we've often used a double black technique to get very rich blacks. Is there an equivalent process that can be used with Canon Pixma inkjet printers and with the Pro-100, or Pro-10 in particular. Please provide details of any method to achieve this result. Thanks

Hi Joel, that's a great question! Assuming that you're not interested in the PIXMA PRO-1, which would be the absolute ideal black-printing unit, we think you'll find that the PIXMA PRO-10 would very well-suited for your printing needs. The PIXMA PRO-10 utilizes a general black and a matte black ink tank that are separate from each other, and can be customized to produce a black effect very similar to the results produced by multiple pass offset printing. The matte black tank in particular can achieve the deep, rich blacks you're looking for. We hope this helps with your decision-making process!

I have a Pixma Pro-100. It only has one black cartridge, but two gray cartridges.
