PRO-2100 Black lines in the red channel

I'm starting up my PRO-2100 again after a year sealed under wraps to protect it during some construction. Everything looks good except for some black lines in the red channel.

Nozzle check is perfect except that some of the gridlines in the red section look dark. Printing solid blocks of red show dark bands at the start of the block. Before multiple cleanings and printing sheets of red, the black bands were right down the page - so it's much better than it was.

As well as regular cleaning cycles and purge sheets I also carefully cleaned the ink pads and wiper.

It's "almost there", but I'm seeing diminishing returns with more cleanings.

Other than continue pouring ink into the waste tank, any ideas? Thanks!

In case it helps anyone else: Canon support gave me a boilerplate response (check your firmware) and suggested a head replacement. I decided to try a few test prints first. Now the nozzle check looks perfect and everything seems good!
