Hi there
I purchased a Pixma Pro 100 printer (not direct from Canon) back at the end of May. This week I started having issues with the printing as it is leaving large black streaks across the page. I use the printer for my small buissness making greeting cards and this is putting me out quite a bit of time and product if I can't get it resolved.
I am using 60 lb paper from Red Paper River that is approved to use for the quality of paper on this printer.
I have cleaned the printer ink cartridges and head. I can't figure out what else to do. I included a pic below but it's not great quality. You can see all the streaks of ink that come on the edge or right through the bottom/top section of my cards. This looks awful and I can't send product out like this : /
I have a second issue that the printer is creating wider margins than I am indiciating online. I have put my print settings on the computer to have no margins and the print still is cutting off the sides of my design. I have tried printing the exact same file with the exact same print margins on the computer to a different pritner and I have no issue at all. So I know it must be a printer issue and I can't figure out how to fix it.
Is there anyone at Canon (or in the community) that can help!?!?
Every site / link on Canons website is down and says under construction. If I call the hotline they hang up on me every time saying the volume of calls and issues is too high and to go online. I called the company I purchased the printer from and they can only help so much as they are not a Canon store.
Can someone help? I am very upset about all this and it is messing up my ability to keep my business running and need this all resolved.
Thank you!

Hi Mesuganotesshop,
What version of Windows is installed on your computer?
If you are using a Mac, what version of OSX is installed?
What application are you using to print your cards?

Hello Patrick -
I am using a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020). I have macOS Catalina Version 10.15.6 installed.
I am printing my cards from pages templates.
I print the same card from the same template on my husbands standard HP office jet printer and margins and ink are perfectly fine so I don't believe it's my templates or software.
When I print it on the canon it's all messed up!
I also don't seem to be able to properly download the printer on my hard drive to access settings that I read about online that other people are reccomending I play with with regards to changing the height of the roller or other things like that.
Can you help?!? I am at a loss regarding the ink ruining all my product. The margin issue would be nice to fix but less critical then ink streaking all my cards.
If nothing fixes it, how do I ensure I can get a new printer while under warranty since nothing is up to date on the website?
Please let me know if it's easier to have someone call me from Canon and I can provide my phone number.
Thank you!
Stephanie

Hello,
You can try downloading and install the driver from the site below since the usa.canon.com is currently down.
If reinstalling the driver does not resolve your issue, I recommend contacting Canon support at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666), Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST. They will be able to troubleshoot this issue in real time and look into your warranty options if they find any hardware issues with the printer.
