Pixma Pro-100 driver features missing?

Hello all,

Hoping someone can clue me in on what's happening with the latest driver for the Pro-100.

I have 3 Macs that use the printer via my wireless home network:

#1 is running an older version of the driver (16.40.1.0) on Catalina 10.15.6. The driver is great, has all of the features I need, and works as expected.

#2 is running the newest version of the driver (16.41.0.0) on High Sierra 10.13.6. This driver lacks the features that were available in 16.40.1.0.

#3 is running the newest version of the driver (16.41.0.0) as well, on Mojave 10.14.6. As with #2, it is also lacking the features that were available in 16.40.1.0.

Here are screenshots of what I see in 16.40.1.0:

And here is what I see with the newest driver, 16.41.0.0 ... notice how the previous dropdown menu options are missing, and the only option available to me gives a very dry and technical set of options, almost as if it is a developer kit or something. Color adjustments are missing, as well as borderless options, to name a few:

Does everyone else have this issue, or is it just me? I installed everything according to Canon's instructions, just as I had done with Mac #1 on the previous version. I also made sure to choose the right wireless printer protocol in the initial setup - i.e. "Canon IJ Network", not "Bonjour". I worry that Apple's stock printer driver may somehow be interfering with Canon's in some way, causing the two to conflict, but I have no idea how to resolve this. I've even tried to reset the printing system and reinstall the driver, to no luck.

Any help is appreciated! Thank you.

In Printers & Scanners, make sure you do not have Use Generic Printer Features selected under the line for 16.41.1.0.

I just tried on my computer and if I select the check box I get what you have.

Unchecked I get the full option set.

Thanks for your reply, John. Unforunately, for some reason, 16.41.0.0 doesn't have that checkbox, but I am familiar with the option because 16.40.1.0 does have it. Do you know why this might be? See screenshots below.

Also, I noticed that you said "16.41.1.0" - was that a typo? Right now, the Canon USA driver page is inaccessible, but I can access the Canada page and there isn't a 16.41.1.0 download there. Just 16.41.0.0.

In the 16.40.1.0 options:

In the 16.41.0.0 options ... just completely missing that checkbox!:

Sorry. It was a typo, but I do have the check box.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but my printer is wifi connected.

I'm connected via wifi as well. This is so strange... are you running Catalina?

I wonder if this is an issue with the OS version... I haven't tried installing 16.41.0.0 on my Catalina machine yet, mostly out of fear that I will be in the same predicament as the other two machines that are using it.

Yes. Latest update to Catalina.

Try reinstalling 16.41 on the computer that currently has it.

Thanks, John. I tried re-installing 16.41 on my Mojave computer, and I also tried killing everything and installing 16.40.1 on it as well, but neither of those things work. I'm thinking this is either some kind of issue with the older OSes or perhaps a conflict somewhere in the file structure of the systems. I'm probably going to have to go to the Apple support forums to figure it out from here. Thanks for all your help in trying to narrow it down.
