Our TM-305 occasionally starts moving the cutting carriage prior to the print completing. In other words the paper is still feeding when the carriage begins to cut. The result is a crumpled paper jam and the carriage stops somewhere in the first 3 to 12 inches causing a print error. Usually releasing the paper, manually moving the cutting carriage back to its home and reloading the paper resolves the issue. Sometimes it shows a printer error requesting a reboot. Sorry I do not have the error code, I will add that to this post next time it happens.
Firmware is up to date and this issue has happen through several firmware version.
It is annoying but seems to be happening more frequently, about every 100 prints or so.
Any ideas?
