Hi, been working on this problem for days now,I am on the same Wi-Fi network, printer, Android and laptop,  the printer IP address not found by laptop, Android, and Canon print service. on Android  printing page on screen, C-P Service showing a different IP address than the printer , I uninstall addgard , deactivated firewall but still can not reach the printer IP address from a web browser, tried to ping, not working. HELP if you can, I know it's an old printer. Thanks

Is your WIFI set for 2.4ghz? Canon printers will not connect to 5ghz WIFI.

Forgot to mention that, yes it is on 2.4, like the screenshot shows, this cp service ip is different than the printer IP for Android, on my phone, but I also can not reach it with win 11 ,I am block somewhere, tried to ping, tried a web, can not reach ip  printer, I made files and printer sharing available, but no result. Thanks for your help

Greetings,

We're going to need some additional information to try to help you resolve this.

Please tell us about your networking hardware.

Modem, router..  or modem/router combo?  Are you using a mesh system?  Is this hardware issued by your ISP or something you put together?  Please be as descriptive as possible. I'd like to understand why the IP you think the printer has is different than what may be shown elsewhere.

Do you have any third party antivirus installed, or software firewall that might be blocking network communication?

Are you using VPN On the laptop or mobile device?

Please login to your router's admin portal and review the list of attached devices.

What does it show for the IP address assigned to the printer?

What IP does it show for the computer?

And the IP for your mobile device is?

When you refer to C-P.. Are you referring to the Canon print app?

We are not going to be able to move forward until we understand why you can't ping the printer from the laptop.
