I have a Mac running Sequoia. Purchased my printer back in late March. Was working great until about a month ago when it started with the following: Issue description: prints solid blue pages intermittently even after confirmed-clean fixing assembly, faded/washed-out black text, "Could not perform adjustment" error on both gradation and color mismatch correction.
I have been using non-OEM cartridges, the same ones, since day one and never had a problem. This is affecting two different color stations in two different ways at the same time, cyan is overprinting and black is under-printing. That points to a shared component failure, not two independent cartridge defects. Customer service insists it’s a cartridge problem. Has anyone else had this issue?

Greetings,
Switch to OEM toners if you're looking for consistent, reliable color accuracy and results.

I should add that third party toners may allow you to print, but they may not be fully compatible with the printer. They may not communicate or be programmed properly. This means you may not be able to perform basic maintenance tasks, color calibration, or cleaning the ITB. The ingredients used in third party toners can be inferior as well. This can result in low quality prints and incorrect color accuracy. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. OEM toners are guaranteed compatible with your device and come with a warranty.
Canon will not stop you from using third party toners but you have to be willing to accept the results when doing so.
