I have tried following the steps listed on other discussions, but no luck so far.
No third party anti virus installed.
I clicked "Yes" when lauching the setup file.
I have tried the device manager thing.
My printer isn't showing up, even when inserting the IP Address. It shows up on windows when I click on "add a printer" and it showed up when I launched SendV102 Exe
I am losing my mind over this...

Greetings,
Software and downloads for your device are available here:
https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/color-imageclass-x-mf1127c
The 2 installers needed are:
[Windows 64bit] MF1127C MFDrivers (Generic Plus UFR II / Generic Plus PCL6 / Generic Plus PS3 / Generic FAX / ScanGear)
And
[Windows 32bit & 64bit] MF Scan Utility Ver.1.21.0.2
The send function settings tool is optional, and can be used to configure Scan to Email. You can also do this in the printer's remote UI without software.
I'm not sure what the "device manager thing" is. Can you elaborate?
Next steps. Determine the IP address of the devices.
What is the IP address of the printer?
What is the IP addess of the computer?
The easiest way to get both of these is to log into the router's admin portal and review the list of attached devices.
Once the IP addresses are known open a command prompt on the computer and ping the IP address of the printer.
Using 192.168.1.99 as an example IP >ping [IP address] then press enter. Does the printer reply?
An alternate method would be to open a web browser and enter the IP in the address bar, press enter. The printers web server should display.
It would be helpful if you could reply with this information and results. 🙂

I have seen this quite a few times. It was usually because SNMP was not enabled. Go to the web interface...Settings/Registration | Network Settings | SNMP Settings...make sure Use SNMPv1 is On.
