My Canon SX280HS which is only about a month old does NOT register true color.

I am trying to take pictures of items that are purple and it shows up on camera as blue.  Is there any way to adjust color truer. I am an artist and this is very important to me.  Thank you for your help.

We have a Canon SX40Hs and cannot activate the digital zoom function.  I have tried changing the mode from Auto to "P" to "Tv" etc and the dig zoom function is greyed out and not accessible.  Any help? Thanks

Powershot SX280 showing low battery

I bought the SX280 a couple of days ago, took a couple of test shots and about a minute of test video, hadn't used it for more than 5 minutes! I switched it on this morning and I'm getting a low battery indicator! Does anybody know why?!

brand new sx280, sometimes doesn't turn on (with full charged battery) =(
