How to prevent the ImageRunner C5235 Advance from loosing connection to the Ethernet LAN

The ImageRunner C5235 Advance printers we just purchased are disconnecting from our Ethernet LAN after a long idle period requiring a reboot of the printer.  Once the printer reboots it shows up on the lan again.  Is there a fix for this issue now?
