how do I reset to factory original settings on my Canon MF8500cdw printer? I want to try the factory settings again as I think
"google Cloud print " worked then. I can not now print to my printer unless I have the computer that I registered the printer
to the cloud is turned on.

Because this is a business class printer, that info isn't in any of the user manuals available to the public. You can only find the full process from Canon service and you have to by send them a copy of your purchase receipt via fax or email.
From my experience, you can go into "service mode" by entering "Menu" then "#". You should be able to see all the settings there. Also, you have to know each function and make sure to note down the current configuration before clearing data. Do note that you have to clear them individually as there is no "reset all" functionality or atleast I haven't found it yet.
