New MF242dw shows "preparing a cartridge is recommended "

I bought a brand new printer MF242dw. Upon unpacking the printer, I printed a test paper and it showed "preparing a cartridge is recommended" warning and the black level is showing less than 10%. This is a brand new printer and the ink came with it is also brand new. Printed a few documents and text also looked thin.
