Canon E477 colour Ink cartridge level dropped without taking colour printouts

Recently I have purchased canon e477 printer, whenever i take monochrome printouts ink level of black as well as colour cartridge is reducing, I have taken about 8 to 9 pages court printouts and now it is showing as ink level is low, company mentions it that colour ink cartridge capacity is around 180 copies so what is the issue and how to solve it
